Workplace Agent

A managed AI employee that lives in your Slack.

Channels are the unit. $100 per channel per month, plus $300 hosting and a $500 one-time provisioning fee. Live in 2–5 business days. Microsoft Teams coming soon.

Not a chatbot. Not a plugin.

A digital team member, managed by Orche — always on, always available, priced per channel. It participates in conversations, runs scheduled workflows, and behaves differently per channel based on the persona and instructions you set.

Live in 2–5 business days

From sign-off to your team @-mentioning it in #general. The client side is light — we handle the rest.

  1. 01

    Confirm scope and sign off

We agree channels, personas, and workflows. Orche invoices the one-time $500 provisioning fee.

  2. 02

    Admin installs the Orche app

Your workspace admin installs our Slack app — standard admin approval, same as any other Slack integration.

  3. 03

    1-hour onboarding call

We configure channels, personas, and workflows together. You leave with a working deployment.

  4. 04

    Orche QA and activates

We sanity-check the behavior, confirm output formatting, and flip the switch.

  5. 05

    Iterate

Add channels, refine personas, explore new workflows. Changes on the agent side go through us; day-to-day instructions you can tune directly.

What it does, channel by channel

Each channel gets its own purpose, persona, and workflows. Three channels = three configurations = one agent.

What's included, what you configure

Built-in, not bolt-on. You shape the behavior; we run the infrastructure.

In every deployment

  • Pretty-print formatting for tables and structured output in Slack
  • Session context — working memory within a conversation
  • Daily logs — lightweight activity logs across sessions
  • 99% uptime target, 1-business-day incident response
  • Orche hosts, patches, and monitors the agent

What you configure

  • Which channels the agent joins
  • Each channel's purpose, persona, and instructions
  • Scheduled workflows (daily digests, summaries, check-ins)
  • On-demand behaviors and tooling per channel
  • When to rename your deployment — the agent shows up as a user

Your data is yours.

Slack messages the agent sees, files shared with it, output it produces — all yours. We own the platform (the codebase, the hosting infrastructure) and license it to you while you're a client. 30 days to export anything stored after an engagement ends.

We target 99% uptime, measured monthly. Production incidents get acknowledged and triaged within 1 business day. The standard engagement isn't a financially-backed SLA — no service credits built in. If contractual uptime commitments matter to your business, we can scope an addendum.

Questions we hear

The short versions. We'll go deeper on a call.

Isn't this just Slack AI?

Slack AI is a subscription inside Slack. Workplace Agent is a managed service Orche provisions, hosts, and operates — configured per channel with personas and workflows, priced per channel instead of per seat. If you want a toggle in Slack, Slack AI works. If you want a teammate that runs your month-end close coordination, you want this.

Is there a free trial?

No. Real infrastructure and an onboarding session sit behind every deployment. Month-to-month is the trial — cancel with 30 days' notice and your data goes with you.

What if we outgrow channel configuration?

Good — that's usually the point where a Services engagement makes sense. A team repeatedly asking for something the agent can't quite do has just identified a custom build. We'll scope it separately; nothing about your Workplace Agent deployment changes.

Can we rename the agent?

Yes. The agent shows up as a user in your Slack, so you pick the display name. Your team calls it whatever fits your culture. In our materials — pricing, proposals, the website — we call the product Workplace Agent.

What happens to our data?

Your data is yours. Slack messages the agent sees, files you share with it, the output it produces — all yours. We own the platform (the code, the hosting infrastructure) and license it to you while you're a client. 30-day export window when an engagement ends.

Is the SLA financially backed?

Not in the standard engagement — no service credits built in. We target 99% uptime and respond to production incidents within 1 business day. If a contractual uptime commitment matters to your business, we can scope an addendum.

Microsoft Teams coming soon. Channel-based, same model, same voice. No dates yet — we'll say when.

Ready to see it in your workspace?

30 minutes. We walk your channels together. You leave with a clear picture of what your first deployment looks like.
